An Australian massage therapist and a Chinese-Canadian school teacher crossed paths in Saigon, Vietnam, drawn together by a shared love of well-being, healing, and yoga. From that meeting, saigon om was born in 2013; a small, heartfelt space for mindfulness, movement, and connection.
What began as a yoga and wellness studio in Ho Chi Minh City has grown into an international practice. Today, Sarah and Hang offer retreats, teacher trainings, and mindfulness-based programs across Australia, Vietnam, and Canada. Together with their two young children, they have recently settled on the Sunshine Coast in Australia, surrounded by ocean and sunshine.
In 2019, after many years of practice, Sarah and Hang were ordained into the Order of Interbeing (Tiep Hien), a community founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. They continue to practice with the Plum Village monastics and share mindfulness through yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and the simple art of breathing and being present.
